Brighton, Mich., November 2019 – Make-A-Wish® Michigan is pleased to announce three new board members were recently elected to the organization’s volunteer Board of Directors:
- Phil Bocketti, SVP, Endowment & Foundation Consultant, Sr. Portfolio Manager, UBS
- Denise Christy, Chief Marketing Officer, Marsh & McLennan Agency
- Hal Ostrow, Attorney & Shareholder, Rhoades McKee
Bocketti, of Northville, is a wealth advisor with more than 28 years of experience. As Senior Portfolio Manager, he holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) designation, obtained through IMCA and the Wharton School of Business. As an Endowment & Foundation Consultant (EFC) as well as a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP), he assists many families and nonprofit organizations in fulfilling their missions. This year, Bocketti was named one of Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors.
Christy, of Grand Haven, has worked in the managed health care industry for more than 32 years. Today, Christy is the Chief Marketing Officer at Marsh and McLennan Agency. A celebrated leader for her dedicated support on several non profit boards, Christy remains committed to bringing competitive and innovative solutions to market that aim to elevate the quality of life for the communities she serves. Christy currently serves as the board chair of Michigan Women Forward and is a member of the Econ Club.
Ostrow, of Grand Rapids, is a business attorney with Rhoades McKee who provides general counsel services to a wide variety of companies, with an emphasis on information technology, cybersecurity, and privacy matters. Professionally, Ostrow is an active member of the Grand Rapids Bar Association and State Bar of Michigan, and is a Fellow of the Michigan State Bar Foundation. Ostrow's community involvement includes leadership roles with the Friends of West Michigan Business PAC and American Israel Public Affairs
