Wishmakers Race to Donate to Make-A-Wish with 5K

The Michigan Journal

On Oct. 31, behind the University Center, the UM-D Wishmakers hosted the first annual Wolverines on the Run 5K race. Registration was open to students and their family, faculty members and members of the local community. Runners were encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes.

Meg Miller Willit is returning to the board for the nonprofit organization, which grants wishes for children in the state with life-threatening medical conditions. She previously served on the board from 2011 to 2013.
